Three Canadian regulators signed pact with CFTC on cross-border trading rules
The US Commodity Futures Trading
Commission (CFTC) and the equivalent regulators of three
Canadian provinces have signed a memorandum of understanding to
cooperate on the supervision and oversight of firms that
operate across borders.
The MOU covers markets and organised
trading platforms, central counterparties and trade
repositories as well as intermediaries, dealers and other
market participants. The memorandum is intended to enhance
