Euronext has hired a new chief financial
officer from BNP Paribas, marking the latest management changes
under the exchange group's new chief executive Stephane
The Euronext supervisory board said
Giorgio Modica will become the exchange's chief financial
officer on May 2.
Modica joins the exchange operator from
BNP Paribas in Paris, where he was for nine years a senior
corporate finance banker in financial institutions, responsible
for the global stock exchange sector as well as the Italian and
Spanish markets. He served as an advisor to Euronext since
