Nasdaq compression cycle will continue twice a year going forward, said the firms
Icap-owned post-trade provider TriOptima
and Nasdaq Clearing have completed the first compression cycle
for cleared Swedish Krona interest rate swaps on behalf of
several Nordic banks.
Five clearing members -- Danske Bank, SEB,
Swedbank and two anonymous brokers - eliminated 288 billion
Swedish Krona (SEK) (£25 billion) in the first
compression cycle for SEK interest rate swaps at Nasdaq
Clearing, said the firms.
