Exchange launched the scheme in November after delaying from September
The London Metal Exchange has re-opened a
process to enable firms to apply to become market-makers after
only partially filling its quota last year and extended the its
new participant programme to three new metals.
The LME said it has re-opened the
market-making application process in the hope of filling the
five remaining slots after it initially considered applications
from September to November last year before launching the
market-maker programme in late November.
