The associations fear adverse effects of new notional-based leverage limit
The Managed Funds Association and the
Alternative Investment Management Association have Tuesday
joined the debate over the US Securities Exchange Commission's
proposed derivatives rule, following the publication of an open
letter from the Options Clearing Corporation.
The MFA and AIMA have written a letter of
comment to the US SEC on its proposed rule on the use of
derivatives by mutual funds and other registered investment
companies, after the OCC voiced concerns earlier
