The president of the ICE Benchmark
Administration has said that, once reformed, Libor could
co-exist with the alternative rate being developed by the Bank
The IBA is in the midst of reforming the
Libor benchmark, with ICE’s Finbarr Hutcheson
stating that the reformed Libor could co-exist with the Bank of
"I think the reformed Libor and the Bank
of England’s alternative benchmark could
absolutely exist in parallel." Finbarr Hutcheson, president at
the ICE Benchmark Administration (IBA), told FOW.
