FOW Trading Amsterdam will gather industry leaders and delegates Thursday
FOW will on Thursday welcome delegates
from banks, brokers, regulators, the buy-side and trading firms
for debate on the rising cost of trading, increasing market
fragmentation and a masterclass on Mifid II.
FOW Trading Amsterdam 2016 will kick off
on Thursday at the Hilton Apollolaan Hotel with the first
keynote address from Merel van Vroonhoven, chair of the
executive board at Dutch regulatory body AFM, on the game
changers for capital markets.
A second keynote will follow from
Iván Blanco, senior quantitative researcher at Arfima
Financial Services (AFS) and Adjunct Professor of Finance,
University Carlos III of Madrid, on "The bright side of
financial derivatives: Options Trading and Firm
The opening panel session, the
ever-popular exchange debate, led by FOW publisher William
Mitting, will follow, with panelists Willem Meijer, CEO of The
Order Machine, Stuart Deel-Smith, market structure and product
development at Nasdaq NLX, Stuart Heath, executive director and
head of UK representative office, Eurex, and Andrew Chart,
executive director at UBS set to debate the challenges and
opportunities of market fragmentation.
