The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group
(CME), the world's largest futures market, reported on
Wednesday a record daily average volume of 18.7 million
contracts per day in February, up 18 per cent from the daily
average in the same month of 2015. A second record was set in
its energy market, where the exchange reached a record 2.7
million contracts per day.
