Oak Futures and LDN are among firms to relocate to new sites across London
British broker Marex Spectron plans to
halve its London office space next month in a move that will
see some prop traders based at the firm's City of London office
relocating to new offices.
The firm currently occupies two floors at
25 Copthall Avenue and plans to reduce its presence at that
site to a single floor next month, a move that will mean some
prop trading clients will need new premises.
"Across the two floors we have around
40,000 square feet which was substantially in excess of that
required for our core Professional Trader business. We have
historically sub-let areas and offices, and while this has
defrayed our premises costs historically, we now plan to
consolidate our traders onto a single floor," said Marex
