OCC paid refunds and dividend to shareholders on Wednesday after ruling
US options clearing house the OCC has won
a legal battle with some of its clients over a capital plan
that will see the US clearing house pay hefty dividends to its
exchange shareholders and move to shore up its capital
Chicago-based OCC said late on Wednesday
the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit had denied a motion
brought by a group of traders and exchanges to stop the
clearing house from implementing its proposed capital plan.
