Act says exchange trading should be central to pricing of power market
A new energy act from the German Federal
government set to reinforce the importance of exchanges as the
main price formation tool was welcomed by the European Energy
Exchange on Tuesday.
The Power Market Bill states that a
reference price that is established on the market –
primarily through trading on exchanges – should
continue to form the centre of the power market.
