Jones joined Wells Fargo this month as MD in its agribusiness sales team
Wells Fargo Securities, the ambitious
futures broker, has hired in Chicago one of the
City’s most experienced grains brokers Robert
Jones from ABN Amro Clearing.
Well Fargo said in a statement that Jones
was appointed this month as managing director of agribusiness
listed derivatives sales and execution, charged with growing
Wells Fargo’s agricultural brokerage business
He reports to Wells’ head of
listed derivatives sales and execution Jeff Gore who said:
"Robert’s career spans 38 years in agriculture
commodities. He joins an already strong team of professionals,
bringing with him deep institutional knowledge of this industry
and its financial needs, which is essential to the growth of
our Futures Commission Merchant (FCM)."
