European Commission Wednesday delayed Mifid II implementation by a year
The European Commission plans to publish
and adopt two crucial sets of details on the controversial
Mifid II reforms before the end of March, paving the way for
the industry to move to implementation.
The European body aims to adopt and
publish the final draft of the delegated acts rules for Mifid
II by the end of February, with the regulatory technical
standards to follow in March, according to sources.
A spokesman for the European Commission
declined to comment.
