LME’s said aluminium, lead and copper were down, nickel was the only riser
The London Metal Exchange reported a 13.4%
fall in average daily trading, underlining a mixed start to the
year for the world's top markets.
Daily trading of the LME's global
aluminium alloy contract was down 10.4% to 261,996 contracts,
its lead contract fell 22.3% to 43,199 lots a day and copper
was off 21% at 157,481 contracts.
