Ice Clear Canada is third Canadian clearing house to be recognised by Europe
The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said
ICE Clear Canada has been recognised as a third-country
clearing house under a new European regulatory regime.
Brad Vannan, ICE Futures Canada and ICE
Clear Canada president and chief operating officer, said in a
statement on Wednesday: "This provides an additional assurance
to our European customers and enhances their confidence in our
Canadian agricultural market, which includes our global
benchmark canola contract."
