Esma, ECB want national regulators and central banks to ink similar MoUs
European Securities and Markets Authority
(Esma) and the European Central Bank (ECB) have agreed a
template for the exchange of information between themselves and
Europe's individual national regulators and central banks as
part of their preparations for the implementation of Mifid
Esma and the ECB inked a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) to allow the exchange of information
between themselves and between themselves and national
authorities as the central bank continues to increase its
supervisory mandate over the region.
