Merc increased fees in January, ICE will in April start charging for data
The London-based proprietary trading
community has reacted angrily to the news that the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange Group and the Intercontinental Exchange
have raised dividends after announcing new fees for
CME Group declared on Thursday a first
quarter dividend of $0.60 per share, up a fifth on the former
$0.50 per share rate, payable on March 28 2016.
ICE said on Thursday it is upping its
dividend for the three months to the end of last year, to $0.75
per share from the $0.65 paid for the same period in 2014.
