The collateral squeeze is forcing firms to think differently about internal processes

If we were to create a word-cloud for most
frequently heard terms at the various industry forums we
attended in 2015, 'blockchain’ would probably
occupy the biggest space. Collateral management and compliance,
would, however, still loom large. Despite the potential for
distributed ledger technologies (DLT) to address a multitude of
process challenges, we are barely beyond proof of concept in
the most advanced instances, while collateral management and
compliance are immediate requirements.
