European regulator launched consultation on disclosure of insider information
The European Securities and Markets
Authority (Esma) has issued draft guidelines clarifying the
implementation of the Markets Abuse Regulation (MAR).
The regulator on Thursday launched a
public consultation on draft guidelines regarding market
soundings and delayed disclosure of insider information
Market sounding is the communication of
information prior to the announcement of a transaction, used to
gauge the interest of potential investors and determine
conditions such as size and pricing.
