Taiwan Futures Exchange said volume was up in 2015 over 30% on prior year
The Taiwan Futures Exchange (Taifex)
posted record volumes last year on the back of strong demand
for its single stock futures and equity index products.
The Asian exchange reported Monday total
trading volume for 2015 reached 264,495,660 contracts, up over
30% compared with 2014.
Total futures volume was up over 40%,
while options were up a quarter, with gains led by equity index
products Taiex Options (TXO) and Mini-Taiex futures (MTX) along
with single stock futures.
