The British firm has hired many senior brokers from rivals in the past year
ED&F Man Capital Markets has hired two
more brokers, continuing an aggressive growth trend that has
defined the British firm over the past 18 months.
The London-based broker hired this week
Mahesh Collins, who last worked with ED&F rival JB Drax
Honore, and in mid-December Oliver Hughes, an experienced
broker who spent 14 years with Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC
Partners before leaving to do short stints hedge fund Solo
Capital Partners and broker Old Park Lane Capital, according to
the FSA Register.
