The affected soybean shipping stations are located on the flooded Illinois River
The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group said
it has removed its Force Majeure declaration at the majority of
the soybean shipping stations on the Illinois River.
In a note to clients late on Tuesday, the
Merc said it has removed the Force Majeure condition at a
majority of the affected stations along the river, and added
that "shipping stations not under Force Majeure conditions will
be required to load at their daily rate of loading".
