Bank has said it wants comprehensive plans in place early next year
The Bank of England is set to hold on
Tuesday a crucial meeting of its senior working group to
establish an alternative to Libor, as it seeks to propose a
plan as early as possible next year after initially having said
it hoped to have done that this year.
The working group on a sterling risk-free
reference rate will meet on December 15 at the Barclays offices
in Canary Wharf to forge ahead with its objective of finding an
