Turkish exchange will go live with Nasdaq’s tech infrastructure on Friday
Nasdaq’s agreement to provide
Borsa Istanbul with a new complete technology and trading
system is a "milestone" for the exchange giant, with the
official launch set to take place on Friday.
"The launch demonstrates our ability to
build a strong and effective offering for clients and will help
the exchange evolve from the first iteration which is
supporting single trading sessions; the exchange will see a
wide range of developments in the coming years," Lars
Ottersgård, executive vice president and head of market
technology at Nasdaq, told FOW ahead of the go live.
