FIX Working group submitted proposal for more precise reporting last month
FIX Trading Community has accepted a
proposal from one of its regulatory subgroups to update the FIX
trading protocol to better support market participants in
complying with Mifid II rules.
As first reported by FOW in November, the
FIX Clock Synchronisation subgroup submitted a proposal calling
for the FIX standard to be upgraded to allow for more precise
reporting, in as small as 'pico-seconds.'
