The European and Asian authorities cut a deal over the exchange of information
European and Hong Kong markets regulators
have announced enhanced cooperation on trade reporting regimes,
marking the latest step as regulators look to create a system
to share trade repository data across jurisdictions.
The European Securities and Markets
Authority (Esma) and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures
Commission (SFC) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of
Understanding that will allow the exchange
of information on derivative contracts held in trade
