Former head of settlement and custody Jeffrey Tessler to take over Eurex
Andreas Preuss, the chief executive of
Eurex, is to step down from that role next year as part of
group reorganisation that will see Preuss run IT, data and new
asset classes and Jeffrey Tessler, Deutsche
Boerse’s former head of post-trade, take over
derivatives trading and clearing.
Deutsche Boerse said on Wednesday it will
re-structure on January 1 next year into three key divisions:
clients, products and core markets, led by Tessler; IT &
operations, data and new asset classes, under Preuss; and cash
market, pre-IPO and growth financing, run by Hauke Stars, a
member of the Deutsche Boerse executive board.
