Icap has agreed to sell its hybrid voice and data business to
Tullett Prebon just days after the rivals confirmed they were
Under the terms of the deal, which is
slated for completion next year, Tullett Prebon will acquire
Icap’s hybrid voice brokerage business - Global
Broking – which includes its associated technology and
broking platforms, including iSwap and Fusion, its associated
information services business, as well as some of
Icap’s joint ventures and associates.
Icap’s post-trade, risk,
information and electronic markets divisions – EBS and
BrokerTec, TriOptima and Reset, Traiana, Euclid and Icap
Information Services which supports its electronic platforms -
will operate under a new group holding company named Icap
NewCo, targeting the financial technology space.
