Tullett Prebon on Friday said that it will be reducing headcount by 5%
Interdealer broker Icap has said on Friday
that it is in talks with rival brokerage firm, Tullett Prebon,
over the potential sale of its Global Broking business.
The confirmation came after media reports
earlier Friday speculated that a merger between the firms may
be in the works.
Icap said in statement that it is in
discussions with Tullett regarding the possible sale of its
voice brokerage business, Global Broking – which
includes its associated technology and broking platforms,
including iSwap and Fusion, and its associated information
