European authorities could act unilaterally on leverage ratio - Swinburne
European law makers are considering unilaterally altering
controversial leverage ratio rules to take into account the
risk reducing effects of segregated margin despite opposition
from US banking regulators to the proposals, according to
European Parliament member Kay Swinburne.
