Eurex, CME and US options exchange volumes fell by more than 25% in October
Pan-European exchange operator, Euronext,
on Wednesday became the latest exchange to report a drop in
trading volumes for October, with results exacerbated by the
"exceptionally high" activity last year.
The exchange said that average daily
volume (ADV) on equity index derivatives was 39% lower than
October last year at 201,379 contracts.
