Exchange went live with its first market maker schemes as planned Monday
The London Metal Exchange has said that it
is still taking applications for its new market maker programme
for its soon-to-launch aluminium premium, scrap and rebar
contracts, as it launched its aluminium, copper and zinc
market-maker schemes on Monday.
The exchange has been ramping up
preparations to launch the new schemes - the first to be added
in the metal exchange’s 138-year history
– after confirming the plans in August.
