British arm of the Chicago-based firm has taken on senior brokers this year
Broker RJ O’Brien has hired
foreign exchange veteran Chris Thackham, formerly of Jefferies
Bache and Bear Stearns, as a senior director, in the US
firm’s latest hire of a specialist broker in
Thackham joined RJ O’Brien UK
last month after leaving Jefferies Bache in July this year as
that company was wound up.
He was a senior FX trader at Bache for
nine years after six years as a senior FX sales at Bear Stearns
(before it was bought by JP Morgan in 2008) and another five
years at Bank of Montreal.
