Open interest on NFX passed 300,000 contracts in the third quarter
Nasdaq's new energy exchange NFX plans to
add fuel oil contracts in the first-half of 2016 and change
next month its flagship US oil contract
CEO Magnus Haglind told FOW. "We are
looking into expanding the product suite in oil the first half
of next year."
NFX will next year launch a number of new
products in fuel oil, said the CEO, with further additions to
follow, including auxiliary oil products, following market
Next month NFX is also making a slight
change to its WTI crude contract. "This will be our obvious
next focus area regarding building liquidity. This is set to go
live in early November," said Haglind.
