British exchange to expand its equity derivatives suite to rival incumbents
The London Stock Exchange plans to roll
out futures and options on all stocks in its flagship FTSE 100
list before the end of the first quarter next year, marking the
next step in the group’s plan to compete
aggressively in Europe’s equity derivatives
Massimo Butti, a senior adviser on
derivatives to the LSE Group, told FOW that the introduction on
Monday of the first tranche of single stock futures and options
on the LSE Derivatives Market was the first of many.
