Exchange launched Nodal Clear after winning CFTC approval in September
Nodal Exchange said it completed on Monday
the planned migration of its clearing book to its new clearing
house Nodal Clear from former supplier LCH.Clearnet, paving the
way for the energy market to focus on new contracts next
The exchange said that 12 clearing members
were involved in the transition, which moved approximately 340
million megawatt hours of futures positions with a notional
value of more than $12 billion on each side (over $24 billion
total) to Nodal Clear.
