BNP Paribas, the French
investment bank, said on Monday it had appointed Edmund Shing
as the new global head of equity derivatives
Shing, who is based out
of London, will focus primarily on serving the
bank’s institutional investor and absolute-return
fund clients and will head up a team of strategists based in
London, Paris, Hong Kong and New York.
