Regulatory reporting firm has resources to take on 100 projects on the new system
Regulatory reporting firm Abide Financial
said it expects to sign up some 50 Mifid II compliance projects
before the end of this year as firms start to implement systems
ahead of the European reform's introduction in early 2017.
Abide’s Proximity service is
a data-led programme which will be run with firms until the
European Securities and Markets Authority implement the
reporting rules under Mifid II, currently slated for January
Co-founder and chief commercial officer of
Abide, Chris Bates, told FOW the firm is resourced to take on
100 projects for Proximity, and expects 50% of these firms to
have signed up by the end of the year.
