Exchange group’s new clearing house will go live on Monday October 19
Nodal Exchange has said it plans to add
power contracts and options contracts in 2016, according to the
CEO of the commodities exchange who is preparing to launch on
Monday a clearing house.
Nodal chairman and chief executive Paul
Cusenza said the exchange will next year add a raft of new
contracts, with new power contracts set to join
Nodal’s product suite, as well the development of
options contracts to add to its existing futures coverage, with
the new contracts to be led by clients.
"Once we are up and running with Nodal
Clear, we will ramp up focus on our expansion plans; it becomes
relatively easier to introduce new products when you are
working closer to entities throughout the business. In 2016,
expansion will be our focus, and while new wider additions will
be led by client demand, we are looking to add power contracts,
as well as adding options to our offering," said Cusenza.
