LSE sells to Russell Investments to TA Associates and Reverence Capital
The London Stock
Exchange Group (LSEG) said on Thursday it had agreed the sale
of the Frank Russell asset management business, Russell
Investments, to private equity firms, TA Associates and
Reverence Capital, in a deal worth $1.15bn.
The LSE got the asset
manager as part of its $2.7bn acquisition in December of the
Frank Russell Company, the parent company of asset management
business and the Russell index complier.
