Trading volumes at exchange fell 6% year-on-year but up 10% on August
US exchange giant the
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) reported September volumes down
6% compared to last year, on the back of continued declines in
its European short term interest rate segment.
The Atlanta based
exchange operator reported on Monday average daily volumes for
the month down 6% compared to September last year, to 4.7
million contracts. However this represents an almost 10%
increase on August.
