The Icap unit and LCH said they compressed over 900 billion NZD of swaps
Icap’s TriOptima and LCH.Clearnet have said
they have successfully completed their first compression cycle
for New Zealand dollars and helped 12 bank clients eliminate
over 900 billion NZD.
The partners said they compressed 902.3 billion NZD ($590.2
billion) of interest rate swaps denominated in NZD which is a
third of the total of Kiwi swaps in LCH.Clearnet.
