Daily volumes for the month reached 4.3 million contracts up 11% on August 2014
US exchange giant, the
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), on Thursday reported August
volumes up 11% on the same month last year, on the back of a
21% increase in energy trading.
The Atlanta based
exchange operator said average daily volumes for the month
reached 4.3 million contracts, up 11% on August 2014, as growth
in commodities offset declines in financials.
