HKEx reported volumes up 44% compared to August last year to 17 million contracts

(HKEx) reported another bumper month in August, with volumes up
nearly a half on the prior year, mirroring the performance of
its Asian and western rivals.

up 44%, compared to August last year, to 17 million contracts,
but volumes fell 11% on July.
