Aluminium premium, steel scrap and steel rebar contracts set to go live in October
The London Metal Exchange (LME) has moved
the launch of its new aluminium premium, steel scrap and steel
rebar contracts to November 23, to coincide with a raft of
technology updates to the exchange and its clearing house to
minimise disruption for members.
The new contracts were set to go live on
October 26, as reported by FOW in March.
A spokesperson told FOW that the decision
to launch the highly-anticipated contracts in November was made
after requests from members.
