Over-the-counter derivatives trade confirmation service launched on Monday
Data vendor Markit plans to expand the recently-launched trade confirmation service to non-deliverable forwards, forwards and exotic
options next year, as well as new options products later this year.
“The service is aimed at over-the-counter derivatives at the moment, as
these are the products which firms are confirming trades with paper documents
and other semi-automated mechanisms,” Matthew Hill, director, head of the service
and head of FX processing at Markit, told FOW.
