LME said Monday it will launch its new participants programme on September 1
The London Metal Exchange plans to deliver
its first market-maker programmes before the end of the year,
subject to regulatory approval, and trade compression services
in November, after drawing a line on Monday under its
electronic trading reforms by unveiling its first rebate
The LME is forging ahead with its plan to
deliver its first market-making rebate programme in the fourth
quarter, subject to approval from Britain's Financial Conduct
Authority, and plans to start offering trade compression when
its clearing house LME Clear upgrades its core technology in
November, according to the firm.
