The Newedge CTA Index climbed 3.01% during the month, reversing Q2 declines
Advisors (CTAs) enjoyed a strong July, rebounding from losses
sustained in the second quarter of the year, according to
French bank Societe Generale.

Services, compilers of the Newedge CTA indices, said Monday
that July’s strong performance was a result of
positive contributions from the currency sector.
The Newedge CTA Index,
which tracks the daily rate of return of the largest 20 CTAs,
climbed 3.01% during the month, reversing second quarter
