Group chaired by Jean-Paul Servais from the Belgian FSMA
The European Securities and Markets
Authority (Esma) has created a new committee, dedicated to
develop and provide technical advice for the European
Commission, with a particular focus on investor protection and
preparing for Mifid rules.
Esma said that The Investor Protection and
Intermediaries Standing Committee will undertake its work on
issues relating to the provision of investment services and
activities by investment and credit institutions.
