Butler will replace McDermott in September when she becomes acting CEO
The UK's Financial
Conduct Authority (FCA) has said Megan Butler will join the
regulator as director of supervision for investment, wholesale
and specialists on September 1.
Butler will join the
regulator on a one-year secondment Prudential Regulation
Authority where she currently serves as executive director of
international banks directorate.
She will replace Tracey
McDermott who is set to step up to acting CEO of the FCA in
September, following the shock departure of Martin Wheatley earlier this
